![]() ![]() They’re unmotivated to fix the very obvious problems with PvP because… well, they sold 13 million copies, who cares? It seems like even THEY have failed to understand that it is primarily PvP players who give their games an unrelenting lifespan and that it is primarily PvP players that check phantom ranges, tier out the weapon movesets, build parry-frame spreadsheets, etc. What disappoints us is that it seems - to me - that From has taken their 13 million balls and gone home. This is why we are so upset with From’s casual attitude toward Elden Ring’s PvP - PvP is what gives these games their longevity and is a HUGE part of why the community is so intense. Once you’ve exhausted the 300 hours of content - all of which is absolutely stunning - you’ll slide into PvP’s DMs out of sheer boredom and realize there is an entire other world and community within the Souls games. My fellow Americans… many of you don’t seem to understand that, in previous titles, PvP actually BECOMES the game.
